Momizen won the best pitch in the competition against 5 other contestants because the jury saw an innovative business concept that solves a problem that exists.

Momizen makes it simple for parents and caregivers to find activities and events for children without the hours of searching online.

Momizen was founded by Maria Karachaliou in 2018 as a solution to a problem she and many families face, which is how to entertain your kids and still have friends!

As a mum of two girls and a boy, she knows first-hand that families don’t have a lot of time to spend searching online for the perfect family outing. And the familiar struggle of being constantly busy most families stick to the same familiar parks and playgrounds. Maria found that reaching out to other parents during social outings provided her with social comfort and new ideas for places to go. 

It was this act of community that inspired her to create Momizen.
